Very Clever

The Clever Coffee Dripper is indeed quite clever.

It is used for what's called "pour-over" coffee.  Like a French Press without the mess and gritty grounds that inevitably get into your cup.

What's cool about the Clever Coffee Dripper is that it is only $25.  And it can be ordered online and arrive at your door in days, just like a piano.  (More on that next time.)

Another thing you can order online is great coffee.  Specifically, Graffeo coffee.  Graffeo is based up north, but used to have a storefront on Beverly in Beverly Hills.  I loved this store because it was so basic.  They just had bags of beans on one side, and a counter on the other.  I found a picture of it online so you can see the big bags.

The "menu" was one of those old ones where you stick little white letters in a foam board to form words.   If you don't know what I mean, it was this kind of menu:

All that it said was "Light," "Dark," and "Half Light/Half Dark."  Those were your choices. You could not drink anything there.  It was just beans.  They had one guy working, that was it. This coffee always tasted so fantastic.

So I recently ordered some Graffeo online, and it arrived in a few days.

Inside were two packages!

Now let's get the Clever Dripper ready.

Pour in the coffee.  They get very specific on the Clever Dripper box, but I am just going to dump a bunch in.

Somehow, the Clever Dripper fits precisely, and I mean precisely, on my prized Starbucks glass.  I don't really like Starbucks, but for some reason I like mugs and glasses from Starbucks.

I live in constant fear, by the way, of dropping this Starbucks glass.

How did it taste?   Very good!   Beats Sanka for sure.
